Our History
The LeClair Foundation For Technology is a nonprofit organization founded on the belief that technology resources should be widely available without the extreme price barrier. Founded in early 2024, due to the rising costs communities have been experiencing, the LeClair Foundation began operating low & no cost website development, hosting and domain name donations. Shortly after discovering the harsh reality of the current environment regarding technology services to community members, the team and third party consultants had settled on opening up a wider variety of services under the umbrella of the Community Technology Grants.
The Community Technology Grant was built to allow community members to pay what they reasonably afford without negatively impacting their contribution to their local community. Eligible participants must be located within a community and strictly serve their local community. We do this to maximize the community benefit of our programs. Eligible participants are small business owners, small nonprofits, students, general community projects, and most other community-related organizations or projects.
The E-waste Recycling program was developed to ensure people had a free and easy way to properly recycle their electronic waste. Not only does the LeClair Foundation for Technology offer 100% recycling for all e-waste(drop off and pick up), but also repurposing technology to then donate to those in need.
